Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains how to cancel an ongoing project or a recurring Bidfy service, and what happens to work already performed.
1. Canceling projects
The client may cancel a project at any time, in writing, to hello@bidfy.dev. The cancellation takes effect on the date the communication is received.
2. What is due upon cancellation
- Work performed up to the cancellation date is invoiced proportionally, based on completed milestones or hours actually dedicated, according to the proposal model;
- The client receives all materials and deliverables produced to date, to the extent of the payment made;
- Installments paid for milestones not yet started are refunded (see our Refund Policy).
3. Cancellation before work begins
If the cancellation occurs before the start of any work, all paid installments are refunded in full, except amounts relating to third-party costs already committed on behalf of the client.
4. Recurring services (maintenance and retainer)
Maintenance, hosting and monthly retainer contracts can be canceled with 30 days' written notice. The active service continues until the end of the period already paid, and there is no automatic renewal after cancellation.
5. Cancellation by Bidfy
Bidfy may suspend or cancel services in case of payment delays over 15 days, breach of these Terms of Use, or illegal requests. In that case, the client receives the deliverables corresponding to the amounts already paid.
6. Transition and access
After a cancellation, we guarantee up to 15 days of transition support: transfer of repositories, credentials and documentation, at no additional cost.
